Memories of Me

A couple of my friends have this on their blog and I thought it would be fun to do. Here is how you play: 1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

You are so likeable and compassionate. I remember when I gave my first talk in September (I had been there about two months) and I said over the pulpit that I had no family or friends close enough to visit. You came right up to the stand after Sacrament meeting ended and told me you'd be my friend....and you're still reaching out to me. Thank you!

PS: I love the new look of your blog. Those stripes are all my favorite colors!

I remember one of the most awesome spring break trips ever freshman year. We went from USU to Las Vegas (where you shamelessly flirted with Chris) then on to LA. We borrowed my grandpa's blazer (still can't believe he let us take it!) and had an absolute blast.

I also remember (and this is kind of an indirect memory of you) sitting on the lawn outside the Saint George temple after your wedding. It was a gorgeous sunny day in April (so nice to see warm sun after a Logan winter!). Sarah and Heidi and I were playing cards waiting for you to come out. I just remember feeling so happy for you and Chris!!

Happy Memories!

p.s. I love the blog re-do too!

I remember you forcing me to listen to country music to prove it was not terrible. I remember you glaring at the old woman who called you a boy when you were about two and saying crossly, "I'm a dirl!" I remember scaring the hell out of you when I came down to visit from NY without telling you and hid in the bus and then jumped out at you. I remember playing hide and seek w/ you when you were a kid and I would say "Where could Catherine be?" and you'd shout "HERE I AM" so you were pretty easy to find. I remember you sticking up for me when I wasn't getting along w/ Dad. I remember that every single time I see you you give me super long hugs. I remember taking you and Andrew to the Inner Harbor and Andrew ate popcorn out of a puddle. I remember that you cried when you found out you were going to be an aunt. I always remember that I'm lucky to have you as my sister.

I remember when we first moved in the ward I thought Becca was your baby for the longest time, and I remember I was intimidated by you but then when I got to know you I really clicked with you and just loved you.. still do too!
